Vermicompost (vermi-compost) is the product of the decomposition process using various species of worms, usually red wigglers, white worms, and other earthworms, to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast. This process is called vermicomposting, while the rearing of worms for this purpose is called vermiculture.
Vermicast (also called worm castings, worm humus, worm manure, or worm faeces) is the end-product of the breakdown of organic matter by earthworms.[1] These castings have been shown to contain reduced levels of contaminants and a higher saturation of nutrients than the organic materials before vermicomposting.[2]
Vermicompost contains water-soluble nutrients and is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner.[3] It is used in farming and small scale sustainable, organic farming.
Vermicomposting can also be applied for treatment of sewage. A variation of the process is vermifiltration (or vermidigestion) which is used to remove organic matter, pathogens and oxygen demand from wastewater or directly from blackwater of flush toilets.[4][5]

Fertilizer labels list three numbers; for example, 15-30-15 indicates the relative amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, or N-P-K. Choose a fertilizer based on the ratio of these nutrients to each other. For instance, a 15-30-15 fertilizer has a 1:2:1 ratio of N-P-K with one part nitrogen, two parts phosphorus and one part potassium. Flowering plants thrive with a 15-30-15 ratio, while a typical lawn fertilizer may use a ratio of 10-1-1, depending on your soil test. Fertilizers with a 1-1-1 ratio are considered all-purpose.
Nitrogen
Nitrogen is an essential nutrient for numerous plant functions and is one of the elemental components of chlorophyll. Nitrogen fuels vegetative growth, particularly the foliage, stems and branches. Plants can deplete the soil of nitrogen, leaching from the soil faster than any other element. If your plants have yellowing leaves or appear stunted with poor growth, the soil may lack nitrogen. By using a soil test kit, you can determine which element may be missing in your soil. Purchase test kits at most home and garden centers.
Phosphorus
A stimulant for root growth, seed and flower formation, phosphorus is most available to plants when the soil pH is between 5.5 and 7. The pH refers to the acid or alkaline level of the soil, and can range from 0 to 15 with 7 regarded as neutral. Different from nitrogen, phosphorus tends to remain in the soil; add it only for new growth. Root vegetables, such as carrots, use large amounts of phosphorus, particularly during early growth.
Potassium
Potassium promotes root and bud growth and ripening of fruit. It enhances disease resistance as well as tolerance to drought, heat and freezing. This element is essential for all plants to thrive, particularly in changing weather conditions. Potassium also has a tendency to remain in the soil, but is heavily used by growing vegetables, so should be supplemented as needed, based on a soil test.

BA (INDOLE-3-BUTYRIC ACID)
In plant tissues IBA and other auxins are used to initiate root formation in vitro in a procedure called micropropagation. Micropropagation of plants is the process of using small samples of plants called explants and causing them to undergo growth of differentiated or undifferentiated cells. In connection with cytokinins like kinetin, auxins like IBA can be used to cause the formation of masses of undifferentiated cells called callus.
Callus formation is often used as a first step process in micropropagation where the callus cells are then caused to form other tissues such as roots by exposing them to certain hormones like auxins that produce roots. The process of callus to root formation is called indirect organogenesis whereas if roots are formed from the explant directly it is called direct organogenesis.

Trichoderma Viride Bio Fungicide
Packaging Size | 1 |
Brand | porwal |
Technical Name | tricoderma |
Packaging Type | pouch |
Trichoderma is a very effective biological mean for plant disease management especially soil-borne. It is a free-living fungus which is common in soil and root ecosystems. It is highly interactive with the roots, soil, and foliar environments. It reduces growth, survival, or infections caused by pathogens by different mechanisms like competition, antibiosis, mycoparasitism, hyphal interactions, and enzyme secretion.
Disease Control: Trichoderma is a potent biocontrol agent and used extensively for soil-borne diseases. It has been used successfully against pathogenic fungi belonging to various genera, viz. Fusarium, Phytophthora, Sclerotia, etc.
Plant Growth Promoter: Trichoderma strains solubilize phosphates and micronutrients. The application of Trichoderma strains with plants increases the number of deep roots, thereby increasing the plant's ability to resist drought.
Biochemical Elicitors of Disease: Trichoderma strains are known to induce resistance in plants. Three classes of compounds that are produced by Trichoderma and induce resistance in plants are now known. These compounds induce ethylene production, hypersensitive responses and other defence-related reactions in plant cultivars.
Bioremediation: Trichoderma strains play an important role in the bioremediation of soil that are contaminated with pesticides and herbicides. They have the ability to degrade a wide range of insecticides: organochlorines, organophosphates and carbonates

Gibberellic Acid Plant Growth Hormone
Packaging Size | 1 kg |
Packaging Type | Bag |
Form | Powder |
Country of Origin | Made in India |
Gibberellic acid (also called gibberellin A3, GA, and GA3) is a hormone found in plants and fungi. Its chemical formula is C19H22O6. When purified, it is a white to pale-yellow solid.
Plants in their normal state produce large amounts of GA3. It is possible to produce the hormone industrially using microorganisms. Gibberellic acid is a simple gibberellin, a pentacyclic diterpene acid promoting growth and elongation of cells. It affects decomposition of plants and helps plants grow if used in small amounts, but eventually plants develop tolerance to it. GA stimulates the cells of germinating seeds to produce mRNA molecules that code for hydrolytic enzymes. Gibberellic acid is a very potent hormone whose natural occurrence in plants controls their development. Since GA regulates growth, applications of very low concentrations can have a profound effect while too much will have the opposite effect. It is usually used in concentrations between 0.01 and 10 mg/L.[citation needed]
GA was first identified in Japan in 1926, as a metabolic by-product of the plant pathogen Gibberella fujikuroi (thus the name), which afflicts rice plants. Fujikuroi-infected plants develop bakanae ("foolish seedling"), which causes them to rapidly elongate beyond their normal adult height. The plants subsequently lodge due to lack of support, and die.
Gibberellins have a number of effects on plant development. They can stimulate rapid stem and root growth, induce mitotic division in the leaves of some plants, and increase seed germination rates.
Gibberellic acid is sometimes used in laboratory and greenhouse settings to trigger germination in seeds that would otherwise remain dormant. It is also widely used in the grape-growing industry as a hormone to induce the production of larger bunches and bigger grapes, especially Thompson seedless grapes. In the Okanagan and Creston valleys, it is also used as a growth regulator in the cherry industry. It is used on Clementine Mandarin oranges, which may otherwise cross-pollinate with other citrus and produce undesirable seeds. Applied directly on the blossoms as a spray, it allows for Clementines to produce a full crop of seedless fruit.
GA is widely used in the barley malting industry. A GA solution is sprayed on the barley after the steeping process is completed. This stimulates growth in otherwise partly dormant kernels and produces a uniform and rapid growth.

Agriculture Perlite Horticulture Grade
Minimum Order Quantity: 1 Kg
Country of Origin | Made in India |
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Perlite is a volcanic glass that is mined and then heated in big ovens until it 'pops' into a round, white material. That white material is used in seed-starting and potting mixtures to lighten the soil. It also allows more air around the roots for the healthy growth of plants. As a soil amendment, it reduces compaction in soil and improves the soil structure. TrustBasket Perlite is sterile and free of pathogens and weed seeds.
Benefits of Perlite:
- Improves aeration and drainage in the soil.
- Perlite particles create tiny air tunnels which allow moisture, oxygen, and nutrients to flow freely to roots.
- Improves aeration in clayey soil too.
- Reduces the extreme temperature fluctuations in the soil.
- Prevents root rotting.
- Best to grow cuttings as cuttings are more prone to rotting.
- The pH of perlite ranges between 6.5 - 7.5.
Directions to use:
- 20 - 25% perlite can be added to make a potting mix.
- Add 30% when used with clay soil.
- Can be used anywhere like container gardening, land gardening, terrace gardening, etc.
