पूसा मस्टर्ड-32 किस्म की विशेषतासरसों की पूसा मस्टर्ड-32 किस्म को भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्था (IARI) पूसा ने विकसित किया है। यह सरसों की पहली एकल शून्य किस्म है। इस किस्म की सबसे खास बात यह है कि इसमें सफेद रतुआ रोग लगने की संभावना बहुत कम है, क्योंकि यह किस्म सफेद रतुआ रोग के प्रति सहनशील है। यह किस्म अच्छी पैदावार देने में समक्ष है। यह किस्म किसानों को सामान्य सरसों की तुलना में अधिक लाभ देगी। इस किस्म में करीब 17 से 18 सरसों के दाने पाए जाते हैं। इसमें तेल की मात्रा भी बेहतर है। यह किस्म प्रति हैक्टेयर 25 क्विंटल तक पैदावार दे सकती है।
पूसा मस्टर्ड-32 के लाभ- पूसा मस्टर्ड-32 किस्म में इरुसिक एसिड की मात्रा बहुत कम है जिससे हृदय रोग का खतरा कम रहता है।
- इस किस्म से 10 क्विंटल तक अधिक उत्पादन बढ़ेगा। जिससे किसानों का लाभ भी बढ़ जाएगा।
- इस किस्म से किसानों को प्रति हैक्टेयर करीब 1.16 लाख रुपए की कमाई हो सकती है। जिससे उन्हें सामान्य सरसों की खेती से 46 हजार रुपए अधिक मिल सकते हैं।
- इसके बीज से निकलने वाले तेल में झाग कम बनता है इससे बेहतर क्वालिटी का तेल प्राप्त होगा।
- इसमें ग्लूकोसिनोलेट की मात्रा बहुत कम है यानि 30 माइक्रोमोल से भी कम है। जबकि सामान्य सरसों में इसकी मात्रा 120 माइक्रोमोल होती है और इसका उपयोग बिना जुगाली वाले पशु चारे के रूप में नहीं किया जा सकता है। जबकि नई किस्म का उपयोग पशु चारे के लिए किया जा सकता है।
